Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Application

Once we've received your application, a member of our team will review it. 
Stage 2

Technical interview

This will be your opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise in the vocational training sector.  We'll ask you questions to assess your technical capability in various areas including funding, curriculum and operations.  You'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions you have on the role or Aptem. 
Stage 3

Skills and experience interview

If you have the required level of technical knowledge and we think you'd be a good potential match, we'll schedule a second interview to learn more about your skills and experience, and give you the opportunity to ask any further questions you have about the role or working at Aptem. 
Stage 4

Final interview and presentation

If you successfully get through to final interview stage, following on from your first two interviews we'll ask you some more in-depth questions to understand your interest in Aptem and the role, and why you feel you would be a good fit.  We will also ask you to deliver a short presentation to demonstrate your customer-facing communication skills. There will be the opportunity at the end to ask any final questions you have on the role, what it's like to work at Aptem or anything else! 
Stage 5

Offer

We will move forward to offer stage if you are the candidate we feel would be the best fit for the role and our team. We'll issue you with an offer of employment and agree your compensation package and start date. 
Stage 6

Hired

The exciting bit when we can welcome you to Aptem! We'll provide you with joining instructions and your onboarding plan and can't wait to have you join us.
