What I do at Aptem
I am responsible for the marketing strategy and execution across Aptem's portfolio of products and the overall brand positioning. Our strategy is based on an omni-channel approach, with a marketing comms plan per product. In addition we operate a parent brand level marketing plan. This includes events, webinars, PR, e-campaigns, social, websites, PPC, offline and online collateral, content marketing, awards and working with membership organisations. Our team consists of Marketing Directors, Managers, Execs and some specialist roles in Events and CRM analysis.

Who am I?
Isla joined Aptem in 2020, having previously consulted for brands including Nissan, Diageo, and HSBC. She developed and executed the marketing strategy for the largest change programme at Barclays, worked with Worldpay to set up their communications function and deliver their rebrand, and most recently set up the marketing function and rebranded Corndel. Isla has an MBA with Distinction from University of Exeter and a post-grad in Digital Marketing with Distinction from IDM.
Advice for prospective candidates
Be prepared to get your hands dirty and work at a fast pace. We operate a flat management structure and encourage people to be highly autonomous. We encourage talent, innovation and great ideas.
